About Prata Realty

Prata Realty was founded as a mother-daughter partnership built on decades of experience in real estate brokerage and appraisal.

Paula Galloway, a native Houstonian, began her career in the early 1980s as a real estate appraiser and quickly earned her broker’s license. With more than 40 years of experience, she now lives, appraises, and sells real estate throughout the Texas Hill Country, bringing a deep understanding of both urban and rural markets.

Jacqueline Stone followed a similar path, training alongside Paula after earning her degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin. She obtained her appraiser certification in 2007, became a licensed real estate agent shortly thereafter, and in 2017 earned her broker’s license.

Together, Paula and Jacqueline offer clients a rare combination of appraisal expertise and brokerage experience, allowing for a highly informed and strategic approach to pricing, marketing, and negotiation. Their complementary backgrounds provide a level of insight that extends beyond traditional real estate services.
